INTRODUCTION

M ESSENTIAL NOIR, M essential's young Line created by Designer Muki Ma,intend to creates a New Chinese style for a broader consumer group. M ESSENTIAL NOIR emphasizes the current style context of young people, either sweet or sexy or handsome, accommodating more girls' dressing needs.

Designer Muki Ma studied Chinese painting since childhood and studied women's fashion design at Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts during his college years. After graduating, he worked as a lead designer for a well-known domestic womenswear brand and participated in a fashion project with Yohji Yamamoto's team. In 2016, the brand was selected as a finalist for the Woolmark Prize on behalf of China. Now, M essential has grown into a high fashion brand representing exquisite craftsmanship and oriental style; the exploration of duality between oriental aesthetics and contemporary life has become a symbol of M essential's creative spirit.
